  • Novembers 2nd is the offical date for the "Dia de los Muertos," but celebrated between October 31st and Novermber 2nd.
  • This celebration is associated with death, but it is not portrayed as morbid or a depressing time, but rather a period full of life, happiness, color, food, family, and fun.
  • This celebration has a complex history that corresponds to Catholic clebrations of All Saints Day and All Souls Day and has been transformed through the years.
